At BRX Mortgage Inc. we aim for a high standard of lender partnership. We understand that to be offered continued top access to products, rates, new product launches and high qualified staff we need to be a desirable partner to them. To ensure we maintain that high standard for our files and our funding ratios, this document was created to ensure anyone who is a part of our brand is aware of our standard for interaction with mortgage lenders. Basically, we protect our lenders like they are the blood of the company.... Because they kind of are to us as a brokerage.

  1. We treat everyone with respect, dignity and kindness ALWAYS.
  2. We do not submit fake, falsified, documents or guessed information to our lenders.
  3. We do not submit the same deal to multiple lenders. We do our research and submit it to the correct lender. If it is declined we ask for help and make a correction before submitting to another lender.
  4. We collect documents up front from the clients and provide them to our lenders at the time of submission for review.
  5. We maintain a high standard of submission notes including explanations necessary for understanding the file.
  6. We do not provide advice or do activities we are not licensed to do.
  7. We do not do mortgages in provinces we are not licensed in.
  8. Any fees charged on files are disclosed to the clients up front and reasonable for the work we have done.
  9. We do not place clients with direct private lenders who have not been approved by the brokerage approval process and we do not do syndicated mortgages.
  10. We aim to be timely with our lenders. This means prioritizing communication with them, making them aware of any changes, and always aiming to have a file “broker complete” as soon as possible on a file.
